What is port haifa?

Port Haifa is the largest port in Israel and one of the busiest ports in the Eastern Mediterranean. It is located on the Mediterranean coast of Israel, about 90 kilometers north of Tel Aviv.

The port is managed by the Haifa Port Company Ltd. and currently has 18 operative berths and 4 passenger terminals. It serves as a major gateway for international trade and commerce, handling a wide range of cargo including containers, bulk cargo, vehicles, and general cargo.

The port also serves as a hub for passenger traffic, with regular ferry services to other Mediterranean destinations such as Cyprus, Rhodes, and Crete. In addition, the port is a popular destination for cruise ships, with around 100 cruise ships docking at the port each year.

In recent years, Port Haifa has undergone significant modernization and expansion, with the addition of new berths, cranes, and quayside facilities. The port is also committed to environmentally sustainable practices, with measures in place to reduce waste, emissions, and noise pollution.
